Financial Aid

Georgetown University in Qatar offers need-based financial aid. Families are required to contribute to the greatest extent possible according to their financial ability, and GU-Q will make up the difference to ensure the remaining financial need is met. This includes help with the annual cost for tuition, housing, and other expenses, if eligible. A CSS application for financial aid is required for need-based financial aid. The priority deadline for CSS applications is January 15. Please note that our admission process is need-blind; applying for financial aid will not affect your admission decision.

Interviews are conducted by invitation only. Most interviews take place in November for Early Action applicants, and in February and March for those applying under Regular Decision.

Please note that not all applicants will be invited to interview. An invitation to interview is not an indication of admission or likelihood of admission.

Interviews with members of the Admissions Committee are a part of the Georgetown admissions process. Summaries of these interviews are normally included in the applicant's file for use in the admissions process and in counseling by officials at Georgetown University.
